Central APP: Docker-based main application for configuring and controlling the globally installed base. Can be hosted by the customer in any environment or provided as a service.
Edge APP: Docker- or Snap-based (ctrlX) local application providing global connectivity. Configured via the Central APP, it enables bi-directional traffic to and from local and global IT infrastructure using MQTT, OPC-UA, and APIs. HIGHLIGHT THAT THIS IS THE CORE
Network Requirements: The standard Noux Node solution requires only outgoing HTTPS and MQTTS ports to be open on the firewall. All communication channels are initiated by the Edge APP, making the solution secure without the need for a VPN connection.
Global Connectivity: The Edge APP provides a comprehensive protocol library to connect to devices from any manufacturer, including brownfield systems. It supports not only bi-directional data transfer but also advanced operations such as backups, file distribution, update patches, and executing device updates.
Edge Control: The Edge APP enables control of the Edge layer, supporting cross-communication between local third-party applications and OT devices, as well as global distribution and management of any containerized solution on the layer.
